Daggubati Venkatesh (Telugu: దగ్గుబాటి వెంకటేష్) is an Indian film actor who stars in Tollywood films. He is the son of veteran Tollywood producer DRama Naidu. He is fondly called as Victory Venkatesh in Tollywood.

Venkatesh graduated from the Prestigious Don Bosco Egmore (Chennai)& graduated with an MBA degree from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, US. After his return to India, he wanted to get into production. He became an actor in telugu films. His father, D Rama Naidu and his brother D. Suresh Babu successfully runs one of the most prestigious banners in Telugu Cinema, Suresh Productions. He is married to Neeraja and has a son, Arjun Ramnath, and three daughters, Aashritha, Hayavahini and Bhavana.

Venkatesh debuted through Kaliyuga Pandavulu in 1986. Just two years old as an actor, Venkatesh acted in Swarnakamalam directed by Kasinadhuni Viswanath. Varasudochadu, released in the same year, was another trophy. After a few flops, he got a break in the form of Bobbili Raja. Added to that the name and performance of Venkatesh was delightful Divya Bharati, good comedy and melodious music.

Early life
Vara Prasad is the son of Late Sri Venkat Rao and Srimathi Anjana Devi. He was born on 22 August 1955 in Mogallturu,a town on the Banks of River Godavari in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh in India. His father worked as a constable and got transferred on a regular basis. He spent his childhood in his native village with his grand parents.

He has two sisters and two brothers. His younger brother, Nagendra Babu is a film producer and a actor. His youngest brother, Pawan Kalyan, is also a actor. Chiranjeevi did his schooling in Nidadavolu, Gurajala, Bapatla, Ponnuru, Mangalagiri and Mogalturu. After high school he studied in C.S.R.Sharma Junior College at Ongole.

Chiranjeevi's foray into politics was highly anticipated in the media and political circles since 2007. While it was reported that he was seeking opinion of people during the latter half of 2007, the media also suggested that he would announce the decision in January 2008. Even before the party's launch, several political leaders from the Andhra Pradesh such as Harirama Jogaiah from Congress Party and K. Vidyadhar Rao , B. 1986-2004
His first movie Vikram released on May 24, 1986 was a remake of the Hindi film Hero starring Jackie Shroff. After acting in four films, he acted in Majnu as a tragedy hero; similar roles were known to be his father's forte. He acted with his father in the movie Collectorgari Abbayi. His first big hit was Akhari Poraatam co-starring Sridevi that ran for 100 days in 12 centers. Geethanjali a love story directed by Maniratnam followed by Shiva an action film directed by Ram Gopal Varma were highly successful and established him as one of the top heroes. During this phase of his career he relished working with new directors such as Ram Gopal Varma in order to recreate his screen persona and enjoy a certain creative energy, through the fresh approach of these young directors. He also made his Bollywood debut with the Hindi remake of Shiva. Movies such as President Gari Pellam and Hello Brother gave him the status of a mass hero.
